Izzy Parker-Nasir specialises in set design consultancy and installation art.
Based in South London, UK, Izzy has extensive experience in set design for the fashion and advertising industry. Freelancing with various clients she works across both stills, moving image and film.
Known for her eye for colour, she creates playful, visually rich emotive worlds, with a high attention to detail always sprinkled with a pinch of surrealism.
She is head of production design at film company Girafingo founded by her husband film maker and Director Naveed Parker-Nasir.

ART PRACTICE

Her art practice focuses on creating immersive installations and artworks that explore perception and emotion through colour, craft and environment.
She is currently an artist in residence at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN) at Kings College London. Where she is working together with Neuroscientist Dr Gemma Modinos in a science/art collaboration to develop a creative public engagement programme centering making as a tool of expression to help better identify and process difficult emotion.
