Izzy Parker-Nasir (she/her) specialises in set design consultancy, immersive installation art, creative public engagement & emotive cinematic film making.
Founding her practice in 2007 London, UK, she has gained extensive experience across the advertising and fashion industries; working across both stills, moving image, live performance and film.
Known for her eye for colour, Izzy explores our perception of space and environment, creating playful, visually rich emotive worlds, with a high attention to detail always sprinkled with a pinch of surrealism.
Izzy has designed sets for Vogue Italia, The Telegraph Luxury, Hearst, Klarna and Amazon Fashion. Her artworks have been represented by renown fashion stylist Bea Åkerlund; worn by Rose McGowan and Maye Musk. In 2019 she was invited as a creative consultant by multidisciplinary designer and artist Carl Robertshaw to design costumes for Kylie Minogue’s headline Glastonbury performance.
Since her artist residency at Kings College London in 2019 Izzy has been developing creative public engagement programmes with Neuroscientist Dr Gemma Modinos at the IoPPN. This year Izzy has been awarded her first public artwork commission (more to be announced soon)
Izzy is head of production design & Co-Director at film company Girafingo founded by her husband film maker and Director Naveed Parker-Nasir. Girafingo strives to elevate underrepresented voices exploring different lived experiences from a global perspective for an international audience.
